2008 Schedule

New School Orientation: During this three-hour session, the ODPS Office and people that relate to Driver Training will be introduced.  Ohio Administrative Code 4501-07 will be reviewed, including the Application for Driver Training Enterprise License and Application for Instructors and Training Managers.  Rules for training students under the age of 18 and for commercial driver’s licenses will be discussed.  Training agreements, records, vehicles, insurance and bonding, and advertising are other topics that are covered.  There will be time for questions from the attendees.  There is no fee charged for this training.  Attendance is required by the school owner(s), authorizing official(s), and training manager before a new enterprise application will be accepted.

All driver training forms are available on the Web page and it is your responsibility to print these for your use.  These forms and documents will not be provided at the session.
